Peela on the Jazz Finland tour

The six-piece Peela, made up of jazz virtuosos from the younger generation, will go on a Jazz Finland tour in the spring 2022. Their personal and flexible groove draws from jazz, funkrock and neo-soul, giving the musicians a lot of space to play around and improvise. Peela has released two albums and the third one is on its way.

The group consists of the winner of Jazzkukko guitar competition 2021 Johannes Granroth (guitar, vocals, compositions), Serveri Sorjonen (drums), Maja Mannila (keyboards, vocals), Sami Leponiemi (saxophone), Oliver Karttunen (bass) and Mikko Antila (percussion).
