Warmly welcome Kristian Sallinen!

Apollo Artists are pleased to welcome conductor and viola player Kristian Sallinen to the roster. Sallinen is studying orchestral conducting in the Sibelius Academy as a student of Professor Sakari Oramo, and is a distinguished viola player and chamber musician. In 2015-2020 he studied in the youth education of the Sibelius Academy, first as a student of Teemu Kupiainen and later as a student of Lilli Maijala. In 2017 he won 3rd place in the Tampere National Viola Competition and has performed as a soloist with the Radio Symphony Orchestra. Together with Seele Quartet, they have performed at several festivals across Europe. Find out more about Kristian on our website. The Apollo Artists represent Kristian as conductor.
